The Student Union has called a student strike on May
10 against "the scandalous sentence" of the five members of La Manada,
which "has shocked millions of women" and also "a majority of
men with conscience."
In addition to calling to paralyze classes in
institutes and universities, the Student Union and the Free and Combative
platform call "all youth and everyone" to attend the meetings that
will take place at 12:00 noon in localities and cities.
"In this great strike we will express our
outright rejection of this patriarchal and macho justice, demanding the
expulsion of the judiciary from the judges responsible for this aberrant
sentence, against the corruption of the PP and its attacks on democratic
rights."
Also, the Student Union has emphasized in a statement
that it wants to show "all the solidarity of the students with the victim
of this horrendous aggression".
