Corpus is a traditional
party or event in La Garriga. This consists on making flower carpets and the
best carpet wins the event. Then a priest walks along the streets and over the
flower carpets to bless them. After that we have the flower war which is throwing
flowers to other people, so often you
get hurt. Normally a lot of people wear caps to protect their faces and heads
and people often wear goggles to protect their eyes, too.
As a result I
think it is one of the best events in La Garriga and when I go there, I have a very
good day.
